Money is Better than Education

This has been one of the hottest debate topics during my secondary school days. The Education support team always wins in those debate because the organizers are pre-determined to encourage children to study as the ideal ways of making our society a better place to live in.                                               While those teachers and school authorities did their best, what are the political leaders and traditional rulers doing to assure those going through school that Education is better than money? Virtually the answer is NOTHING. The society through most of it's elite class have driven education to the buttom line.                                                    It is clear this days that going through school in Nigeria and as a Nigerian, it's not guarantee or hope for a better life. The drug addicts, thugs etc and that guy or damsel who went to through school and graduated, have equal opportunity in this country. This is the doing of the politicians.                          Hence it has become Paramount to have money first so as to get things going. Our national assembly is dominated by uneducated law makers who does not see the value of education. Therefore for the case of Nigeria, "Money is the rule of law"
