Renowned Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has taken to Instagram to express her concerns over the silence of Lagos State Governor, His Excellency Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, regarding the recent passing of Nigerian music sensation, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

In a post on her Instagram account, the actress posed several questions to Governor Sanwo-Olu, particularly concerning the alleged involvement of two individuals, Mr Sam Larry and Naira Marley, whom she claims work for the governor. Dikeh queried the nature of their job descriptions, suggesting that their roles needed clarification.

Furthermore, Tonto Dikeh drew attention to the governor’s silence on the tragic incident involving Mohbad’s demise, which she described as “speaking volumes.” She highlighted that just four months ago, the governor had the opportunity to help the artist “d@g a grav@” a reference to a previous incident or issue.

In her Instagram post, Tonto Dikeh addressed Governor Sanwo-Olu directly, stating, “Sir, why are you silent? Has your good office not shown you disheartening videos of your alleged workers beating a 27-year-old artist at every given opportunity?”

The actress also referenced a photograph depicting Sam Larry who is pictured alongside Governor Sanwo-Olu and was allegedly seen carrying a cutl@zz (cutlass) to confront Mohbad during the artist’s video shoot in front of witnesses.

Expressing her skepticism regarding the claims that Mr Sam Larry and Mr Marley work for the governor, Tonto Dikeh urged Governor Sanwo-Olu to “PROVE THEM/US WRONG NOW.”

The actress concluded her post with a cautionary note, emphasizing the importance of being mindful of what is captured in photographs.

The silence of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the wake of Mohbad’s passing and the allegations made by Tonto Dikeh have raised questions and sparked public debate. As of now, there has been no official response from the Lagos State Government regarding the matter.
