In response to Saudi Arabia's destructive assault on Yemen, the Yemeni military launches regular retaliatory attacks against Saudi Arabian targets. Attacks on the United Arab Emirates, which is fighting with Saudi Arabia, have been infrequent.
According to Abu Dhabi police, three fuel tankers burst in the Musaffah area, which is southwest of the UAE capital and has been classified as a special economic zone with various enterprises and ports, according to a statement released by the official Emirates News Agency WAM.
The explosions occurred near ADNOC's storage facilities, according to the statement.
A building site was also engulfed in flames.
