Former president Goodluck Jonathan has urged Nigerians to be united despite the challenges confronting Nigeria. He said this in a message to congratulate Muslims on their 2021 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

He said, “I felicitate with the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and others across the world on this year’s occasion of Eid-el- Kabir.

“I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters and all citizens to reflect on the significance of this season and apply the lessons in all aspects of our national life. “As our nation confronts COVID-19, insecurity and other development challenges, let us imbibe the virtues of love, sacrifice and tolerance in order to build a united, peaceful and prosperous nation.”
