A local Government Chairman of Ikwo in Ebonyi State has caused reactions online afe6he was seen chasing out Fulani people involved in an open cattle grazing system.




The Local Government Chairman known as Honorable Stephen Orogwu allegedly mobilized security operatives and officers to chase out about 10,000 Fulani cattle grazers practicing open grazing in Ikwo area of Ebonyi State.

The Chairman known as Stephen Orogwu allegedly received information indicating that there were Several Fulani people with their cattle practicing open grazing in the Ikwo area of Ebonyi State, which led to his immediate deployment of security operatives to enforce a ban on open grazing in the community.




There were claims that about ten thousand (10,000) cows were parading the community and causing havoc which led to the rapid dispatch by the Local Government Chairman of Ikwo, Ebonyi State.
