The father was slowly navigating the motor lorry out of his yard when he looked out his rearview mirror and saw his son lying motionless.

Adan Kiritpaul, a twenty-months old boy was on Sunday February 28, crushed to death by his father at their Mahaica East Coast Demerara residence in Guyana.

Police were told that the father was slowly navigating the motor lorry out of his yard when he looked out his rearview mirror and saw something between the lorry’s wheels.

He right now stopped and disembarked; and found his son mendacity motionless and his head overwhelmed.

"The police arrived rapidly after and commenced processing the scene. The body of the child became taken to the Mahaicony Public Hospital and an legitimate pronouncement of loss of life become made,” police said.

A publish mortem is expected rapidly whilst the father is in custody helping with the investigation.
