So earlier last year, my dad decided to go into yam business. The most common in my area kuje Abuja to be precise.
Since we're simply beginning, we purchased seedlings worth of 40k.
We later discovered that seedlings are more costly and scant during cultivating/planting period.
We got the land free of charge
We paid ranchers #20 per edges and we burrowed about 500ridges.
Which means. #20*500= 10,000
Complete cash spent on venture was approximately#60,000 in addition to running expense.
The ranchers were paid 6k to gather the entire sweet potato.
Those folks began as right on time as 6am and we're finished by 2pm only 3 of them.
Truck that stuffed it was paid 1k.
Pic 1 and 2, the huge size sweet potatoes we need to sell. Those purchasers are valuing 45k
Pic 3 are the ones for home and family utilization. Any leftover portion would be added to seedlings.
Pics 4, the little sweet potatoes we need to save as seedlings.
Think we got a great deal from our interest eventually.
