Chieftain leader of Afenifere, a Yoruba socio-cultural group, Chief Olu Falae, has described how Fulani herders assaulted his homestead in Ondo State subsequent to hijacking him, executing his safety officer, distinguished uniquely as Ayo.

Falae, a previous secretary to the military legislature of Ibrahim Babangida from 1986 to 1990, added that the executioner herders butchered and removed his gatekeeper's heart and rifle, which was enlisted with the police.

The tribal leader of the Social Democratic Party expressed this in a concise meeting he did, a video of which was transferred by Naija Television and furthermore on The PUNCH.

Falae, a previous Finance Minister, said, "Today is actually 32 years and fourteen days that I began working here. Also, the cows and their proprietors turned into an authentic danger or apparatus for badgering in the last four, five years. From the outset, they would come in the night to drink water. We were open minded and they didn't remain here.

"We advised them, simply drink water and go; I didn't permit them. Afterward, they would come in the evening, eat our maize and go. I whined to their kin in excess of multiple times. Even later, components of similar individuals captured me.

"When individuals say they were Fulani ruffians, they ask you, how would you realize they are (Fulani)? However, everyone realizes a Fulani man. Fulani himself knows himself. They are not kids. At the point when they were brought to court, they said they were Fulani themselves and the vast majority of them were imprisoned by the court.

"I have been in a bad way a great deal of times. After I was seized, they returned and executed one of the gatekeepers – Ayo. They murdered him, opened his chest and removed his heart.

"The twofold barrelled firearm, they removed it from him and murdered him. It is as yet an uncertain homicide case with the police.

"Is it financial? I'm a financial analyst myself. They consumed the non-crop region on the grounds that the grass was at that point dry. Cows don't eat dry grass. They consumed it so that new grass will develop. They were at that point rearing my grass as though it was their territory."

Falae noticed that various other herders vandalized ranches not as a result of munching their cows but since of perniciousness and intentional harm.

"A year ago, they consumed my oil palm ranch. I videoed it to the Commissioner of Police. I played it additionally at the Afenifere meeting.

"For what reason did they do that? To accomplish something that doesn't improve their own government assistance. I accept they have malignance against me. They scorn the ranchers," Falae added.

As of late, there has been more tension on the Fulani herders in the South-West to leave the district.

Aside from pressure from the general population, an instigator for Oduduwa Republic, Sunday Adeyemo, prevalently called Sunday Igboho, as of late gave Fulani herders in Ibarapa territory in Oyo State seven days to leave.
