IGP orders arrest of Sunday Igboho over eviction notice to herders 

Mohammed Adamu, reviewer general of police (IGP), has requested the capture of Sunday Adeyemo, youth pioneer also called Sunday Igboho, over the quit notice he gave to herders. 

BBC Hausa cited Garba Shehu, official representative, as affirming the capture request during its program on Friday. 

Shehu purportedly said the IGP educated him regarding his order to Ngozi Onadeko, the Oyo official of police, to capture Igboho and move him to Abuja. 

Blunt Mba, police representative, didn't promptly react to TheCable's request on the request for the IGP. 

Igboho had asked herders in Igangan in Ibarapa north neighborhood government region of Oyo to leave inside seven days following reports of the killing of some Oyo residents. 

He had accused herders and Fulanis, including Saliu Kadri, the Seriki Fulani, of being behind the rising instability in the zone. 

The quit notice produced pressure in pieces of the state, provoking Seyi Makinde, the lead representative, to request that the IGP capture those inciting inconvenience under the pretense of ensuring the interest of Yoruba individuals. 

"For individuals stirring up ethnic strain, they are lawbreakers and once you get them, they ought to be captured and dealt with like regular hoodlums," the lead representative had told the police official.
