President Buhari Directs Agencies To Certify Locally Made Helicopter

President Muhammadu Buhari has coordinated the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) to finish up affirmation issues on the fabricated Made-in-Nigeria helicopter. 

The Executive Vice Chairman of NASENI, Prof. Mohammed Sani Haruna, unveiled this on Wednesday when he visited the NCAA central command in Abuja. 

Haruna clarified that President Buhari had given NASENI and the remainder of the organizations related with the Nigeria helicopter project including the Federal Ministry of Aviation to assist activities on the cycles. 

He emphasized the responsibility of the Buhari organization to dispatch the previously Made in Nigeria non-business helicopter at present being made at NASENI. 

He said the president intends to dispatch the NASENI produced helicopter in the last quarter of the year 2021. 

Haruna said the necessary segments parts to make the helicopter entirely Nigeria-made had been produced locally in Nigeria by NASENI and its accomplices. The parts to be imported were at that point in the country, he added.
