FG Takes A Critical Decision On School Re-Opening Without Stakeholders' Consultation

A Nigerian activist, Hamzat Lawal has tagged Federal Government decision over the re-opening of schools as a critical one due to the skyrocket numbers of Covid-19 cases discovered in Nigeria.

Few weeks ago, the federal government of Nigeria concluded that all schools across the country should resume and start the academy activities regards of the situation of the country where there's Covid-19 second wave crisis.

As some schools resume on the 18th of January, 2021 controversies begins to arise from the House of Representatives and among governors in all 36 States in country as they claimed the FGN didn't ask of their permission before they conclude on schools resumption.

Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) has hereby agreed to meet and have a chat over the pandemic as schools resume.

Few hours after the governors meeting were reported by "Channel Television", see what a Hamzat Lawal, a Nigerian activist said about the matter.

"FG takes a critical decision without a conversation with stakeholders. No policy unification. I like Kaduna's stand on school reopening".
