Bauchi State Government has swore to restore the burial place of Nigeria's sole Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa.
Chief for Culture and Tourism Asma'u Giade made the responsibility during the yearly remembrance talk and supplications for the late head administrator coordinated by the state government in Bauchi on Friday, Igbere TV reports.
The burial place's perplexing was taken over by the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM) and changed over to a public landmark, together oversaw by the administrative and state governments.
"The complex was disregarded for quite a long time by past governments. The current organization had set an arrangement to remodel the spot so it could draw in more sightseers from the inside and outside the nation.
"I won't neglect to likewise recognize First Bank of Nigeria Plc who pronounced revenue to contribute toward the remodel of the burial chamber," Giade said.
She added that the lead representative Bala Mohammed had a year ago announced January 15 as a day of supplications for the late Balewa, saying that the State House of Assembly had made an enactment to make the day official.
In a comment, Yakubu Balewa, the oldest child, recognized the Bauchi State Government for the activity to respect hs father.
