I Killed Him In Self-Defence - Akwa Ibom Corper Speaks Out

Princess Odume, the corps part who was caught subsequent to killing a man recognized as Japhet Akwaowo in Akwa Ibom on Sunday January 10 has clarified why she did it. 

During her cross examination by the police, the corps part who was seized while attempting to bounce over a fence subsequent to murdering the youngster uncovered that she did it in self-preservation. 

The police representative in the state, Odiko Ogbeche-Macdon said Odume asserted Akwaowo took steps to murder her upon her refusal to oblige his solicitation to take off her garments so he could have intercourse with her. 

Macdon said; 

"She really executed the youngster distinguished as Akwaowo Japhet. She said she went to purchase bean cake, akara, and saw a man that coaxed to her to approach him. She said she went to meet him, they got talking and she ended up in his home. 

"She said she hung tight for him outside and he went inside to bring a blade. He said he planned to cut her and nobody would realize what occurred. She likewise said Japhet requested that she take off her garments and she cannot. What fundamentally happened was that she overwhelmed him."
