48-Year-Old Sunday Dare Asefon Declares New Global NANS President

Mr. Sunday Dare Asefon has emerged the new ‘global’ President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), amidst sporadic shootings that rocked the contest. 

CAMUS GIST gathered that Afeson is a 48-year old postgraduate diploma (PGD) student of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), in Ado-Ekiti. 

The new NANS president, a wedded man, is a previous organizer of the Association in Zone 'D' containing schools in the Southwestern states. 

He is supposed to be the 'blessed' competitor of the Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, who apparently doled out N40 million to support his candidature. 

Asefon surveyed 155 votes to be proclaimed victor of the challenge in front of Momodu, 11 votes; Champion, 2 votes; Alopay, 7 votes and Ladoja, 100 votes. 7 votes were proclaimed invalid in the challenge defaced with brutality and asserted vote purchasing.
