Flood Sweeps Away Two Children, Displaces Families In Lagos 

Flooding in Oyebanjo Street, Ketu Lagos took two children that are yet to be found . 

Saturday recorded another misfortune as two yet-to-be-distinguished kids were cleared away as individuals struggled flood after a deluge that went on for a considerable length of time and lowered numerous pieces of the territory. 

The episode happened at about 8:00pm at Oyebanjo Street, Ketu. 

While the downpour constrained a few occupants to remain inside, a couple of others endured individual misfortunes as the storm and flooding prompted pulverization of properties. 

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency in a circumstance report on Sunday said a pursuit activity was continuous to locate the missing youngsters. 

LASEMA's Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, noticed that it was found that the youngsters were absent around 8:00pm on Saturday. 

He stated, "The office got trouble calls concerning the abovementioned. On landing in the area of the episode it was found that, around 8:00pm, two kids had been up to speed by floodwater. 

"A joint group of responders containing organization responders, LASG Fire Service and LASAMBUS was at the scene. 

"The office's tiger group initiated a hunt and salvage activity along the way of the floodwater. 

"Starting perceptions uncovered an inclining geology with an immediate channel of channel water into the waterway. This has demonstrated to be fairly testing to explore. Salvage activity stays continuous."
