Stop telling people "My condolences" Most people find it awkward and common, please say this instead;

1. I’m so sorry to hear of your loss.

2. I’m stunned by this news. I’m so very sorry for your loss.

3. My heart aches to hear this news. I’m praying for everyone.

4. Please know that your friends love you and are here for you.

5. I’m so sorry. My heart goes out to you.

6. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

When you use this word above, it will sound more soft and tender than ordinary "my condolences"
